Meet Your Groomer

Cat, owner and founder of BarkBuddiez, with Pickle outside the salon

Hi, I’m Cat, the owner and founder of BarkBuddiez Dog Grooming.

My approach

Kindness, patience and welfare.

Having lived in Lincolnshire all my life, animals have always been a huge part of who I am. My passion for animal welfare began at a young age and led me to work with a wide range of animals throughout my career, including dogs, cats, and horses. I also gained a BSc (Hons) in Animal Management and Welfare, giving me a strong understanding of animal behaviour, health, and wellbeing.

After having two children and taking a break from the animal industry, I found myself wanting to return to the career that had always brought me the most fulfilment. While continuing to raise my children, I decided it was the perfect time to reconnect with my passion for animals and build a business centred around their care and welfare.

I have been grooming my own dogs, as well as those of family and friends, since I was 16 years old. What started as a hobby gradually developed into a genuine passion, inspiring me to further my training and turn that passion into a profession. Dog grooming allows me to combine my lifelong love of animals, my academic background, and my commitment to providing the very best care for every dog I meet.

My approach to grooming is centred around kindness, patience, and welfare. Every dog is treated as an individual, and I strive to create a calm, positive experience where they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether your dog is a confident regular, a nervous rescue, a playful puppy, or a senior companion, their wellbeing will always be my top priority.

I look forward to welcoming you and your dog to BarkBuddiez Dog Grooming.
